The time needed for a website or digital project depends on what is being built, how complex the requirements are, how quickly content and approvals are supplied, and whether third-party access is required. Dobble uses a structured process so each project starts with strategy, site architecture and technical planning before design and development move too far ahead.
As a general guide, Dobble’s typical timeframes are:
- Logo design: 1–2 weeks
- Website design or UI/UX: 2–4 weeks
- Custom website development: 4–8 weeks
- E-commerce website development: 6–12 weeks
- Custom Laravel applications: 8–24+ weeks
These are guide ranges, not fixed guarantees. Timing can change depending on the number of pages, design revisions, content requirements, integrations, hosting or domain access, technical complexity, client feedback and any changes to the agreed scope.
Dobble’s process usually begins with an initial consultation. This is where the team learns about the business, goals, current website or digital systems, target customers and growth priorities. From there, Dobble prepares a tailored proposal based on the required services, such as branding, web design, website development, e-commerce, SEO, hosting, domain management, email hosting or custom software.
Once a proposal is accepted, the onboarding stage begins. This may include a client questionnaire, collection of brand assets, website content, images, domain access, hosting details, email information, analytics access and other required credentials. Where relevant, Dobble may also complete a technical audit before planning the new structure.
For website and SEO-led projects, Dobble’s planning phase is especially important. The agency follows a “Structure Before Aesthetics” and “Search-First Strategy” approach, which means the site architecture, page hierarchy, keyword intent, internal linking, conversion pathways and technical foundations are considered before visual design is finalised. This helps the website support search visibility, usability, performance and long-term scalability from the beginning.
The design stage may include wireframes, page layouts, desktop and mobile concepts, brand alignment, calls to action, trust signals and content section planning. Dobble creates client-specific designs rather than relying on generic templates or a single house style. Clients can provide feedback and request refinements within the agreed revision process before the approved direction moves into development.
Development is completed in a secure staging environment. Dobble primarily builds websites using its proprietary Genesis CMS, which is designed for performance, security, SEO capability and flexibility. Laravel is used for larger bespoke systems, business applications and complex integrations. Dobble’s current business-supplied guidance states that it does not build new websites on WordPress, Shopify or WooCommerce.
Where possible, clients can review a password-protected staging website before launch, usually on a staging subdomain. If domain access is not available yet, Dobble may share staging access securely through a password-protected Cloudflare Tunnel. This review stage allows the client to check content, layouts, functionality and requested refinements before the live deployment.
Before launch, Dobble carries out final testing. This can include cross-device checks, performance optimisation, security review, form testing, analytics setup, sitemap checks, DNS preparation and any required migration planning. If hosting, domain or email migration is involved, Dobble audits existing services, prepares the new environment, takes backups where possible and coordinates DNS changes carefully to minimise disruption. Temporary interruptions can still occur due to DNS propagation, internet caching or third-party provider behaviour.
After launch, the project may move into ongoing support, hosting, maintenance, SEO expansion or management, depending on the agreement. SEO engagements are long-term and run over 24 months, with gradual improvements expected over time rather than instant or guaranteed rankings, traffic or leads.
The best way to confirm a realistic timeframe is to discuss the scope with Dobble. The team can review your requirements and provide a tailored estimate based on what needs to be designed, built, migrated, tested and supported.
