Dobble’s design and branding projects follow a structured process rather than starting with visuals alone. The aim is to create a brand identity that works across digital, print and operational touchpoints, while supporting the wider business strategy. Dobble’s design philosophy is practical: strategy before style, and Structure Before Aesthetics where branding connects to website design.
As a general guide, a logo design project typically takes 1–2 weeks. Website design or UI/UX work typically takes 2–4 weeks. These timeframes are not fixed guarantees. They depend on the scope of the project, how quickly feedback is provided, the number of revisions required, content approval, access to existing brand assets and any changes to the agreed brief.
Dobble’s confirmed design process includes five key stages:
- Discovery and research: Dobble starts by understanding the business, audience, competitors, goals, industry context and any existing brand material. This stage helps avoid generic design and gives the project a clear commercial direction.
- Strategy development: The design direction is shaped around practical requirements. For example, a logo needs to work on a website, business card, social profile, digital document and printed material. For website design, Dobble also considers layout structure, mobile usability, calls-to-action, trust signals and conversion pathways.
- Concept creation: Dobble develops initial concepts based on the approved direction. The confirmed Logo Design Package includes three initial concepts. Website design work includes layout and structure planning, desktop and mobile designs, design system documentation, developer-ready specifications and a brand alignment review.
- Refinement: Client feedback is used to refine the selected direction. The confirmed Logo Design Package includes three rounds of revisions, and the Website Design service also includes three rounds of revisions. Additional revisions beyond the included rounds are charged at $140 per hour.
- Finalisation and delivery: Once approved, Dobble prepares the final design assets. The confirmed Logo Design Package includes primary, secondary and icon variations, vector source files, web and print ready formats, and basic usage guidelines. Broader branding work may include brand guidelines, business card design and social media profile assets where included in the selected package.
If the design project is part of a larger website or SEO engagement, the branding stage may feed into later website design, development, staging, testing and launch processes. Those later stages are separate from the design-only timeline and depend on the full website scope. Dobble develops and tests websites in a secure staging environment before deployment, with client review and approval before launch where possible.
It is also important to separate design ownership from website platform ownership. Dobble’s design packages can include source files for confirmed design deliverables, such as logo and brand assets. That does not mean proprietary website source code, Genesis CMS software, development frameworks, templates, server configurations or hosting infrastructure are transferred. Website and CMS ownership terms depend on the relevant project agreement or SLA.
For the smoothest process, clients should prepare any existing logo files, brand references, business information, content, preferred colours, competitor examples and decision-maker feedback early. Clear input helps Dobble move through discovery, concepts and refinements more efficiently.
