FAQ

What happens after my local SEO website goes live?

After launch, Dobble continues to focus on technical stability, content expansion, local search structure and ongoing improvement. Depending on your agreement, aftercare may include managed hosting, maintenance, SEO work, content updates, performance monitoring, CMS access and support. Local SEO is treated as a long-term strategy, not a one-off handover or guaranteed ranking outcome.

After a local SEO website goes live, Dobble does not treat the project as finished and forgotten. Launch is the point where the technical foundation, site structure and local search strategy begin operating in the real world. From there, the focus shifts to monitoring, refinement, content expansion, maintenance and support, depending on the services included in your agreement.

Dobble’s approach is built around Structure Before Aesthetics and Search-First Strategy. That means the handover is not just a set of login details. It includes making sure the website has been tested, deployed correctly, structured for search visibility and prepared for ongoing growth. Before launch, Dobble develops and tests websites in a secure staging environment where practical, allows client review and approval, completes final checks, then deploys the approved website to the live environment.

After launch, local SEO work may continue through a structured SEO roadmap. This can include refining service and location page structures, expanding content, improving internal linking, reviewing keyword visibility, monitoring website performance and addressing technical SEO issues as they arise. SEO is an ongoing process, especially for businesses targeting competitive local markets or multiple service areas. Dobble does not guarantee rankings, traffic, enquiries or revenue, but focuses on realistic expectations, measurable improvement and sustainable organic growth over time.

If your engagement includes SEO, content writing, editing and publishing are included within the agreed SEO package scope. Dobble’s SEO engagements are long-term, 24-month commitments, because local search visibility usually builds gradually rather than instantly. Progress can be assessed through work completed, website performance, keyword visibility, organic search trends and other relevant metrics. Scheduled monthly SEO reports are not a standard inclusion, but clients may request an SEO report during their engagement. Additional reporting frequency or customised reporting can also be arranged where agreed.

For handover and content management, clients who request access to Dobble’s Genesis CMS can be provided with a limited user account containing the permissions needed to manage approved website content. Access levels are assigned at Dobble’s discretion to protect website integrity, security and functionality. Where requested, Dobble can provide basic training and documentation for common content management tasks. Technical changes, structural SEO changes, development work and functionality updates generally remain Dobble’s responsibility under the applicable agreement.

Maintenance after launch may include software management, security monitoring, performance optimisation, backup management, uptime monitoring and technical repairs, depending on your selected service plan. Dobble’s managed hosting is designed to support performance, security and reliability, with features such as SSL configuration, server-level caching, proactive monitoring and daily automated backups. Dobble aims to maintain 99.9% monthly uptime for websites and hosting services managed on its infrastructure, subject to exclusions such as scheduled maintenance, emergency maintenance, third-party outages, DNS issues, client-side connectivity issues and services outside Dobble’s control.

Support arrangements depend on the service relationship. Public operating hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm, with weekends closed. Hosting, maintenance, domain and email clients have support available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Emergency support is available, with response times typically within 4 hours. If a client is outside an SLA, emergency support is charged on an ad hoc basis, with quotes, predictions or capped timing supplied before work begins where applicable.

Dobble also distinguishes ownership clearly during handover. Clients retain ownership of the content and business assets they provide, including logos, branding, text and images. Domains remain registered to the client, while Dobble may manage them on the client’s behalf. Dobble retains ownership of its proprietary website source code, Genesis CMS software, frameworks, development tools and related intellectual property. If an SLA ends, Dobble may provide a static export of the website for hosting elsewhere, but proprietary CMS software and development files are not transferred.

The goal of aftercare is to keep the website technically sound, searchable, maintainable and ready for future growth. For businesses investing in local SEO, that ongoing structure matters as much as the launch itself.
