FAQ

What happens after my website goes live?

After launch, Dobble handles final checks, deployment and post-launch support based on the agreed scope. Clients may receive Genesis CMS access for content updates, with permissions set to protect the site. Ongoing hosting, maintenance, SEO, domain and email support can be arranged through the relevant service agreement.

After your website goes live, Dobble’s role does not simply end at launch. The exact aftercare process depends on your project scope, hosting arrangement, maintenance plan, SEO engagement or Service Level Agreement, but the general approach is structured around stability, security, performance and long-term growth.

Before launch, Dobble develops and tests websites in a secure staging environment. Where possible, clients can review a password-protected staging version, provide feedback and approve the website before it is deployed. Once launch is approved, Dobble performs final testing, coordinates deployment and manages the required technical steps, such as hosting changes, DNS updates, analytics setup or sitemap submission where relevant to the project.

After launch, Dobble may provide administrative access to Genesis CMS for clients who want to manage their own content. This access is usually limited to the permissions required for common content management tasks, such as editing approved page content or updating selected website information. Permissions are assigned at Dobble’s discretion to help protect the integrity, security and functionality of the website. Where requested, Dobble can also provide basic training and documentation for common Genesis CMS tasks.

It is important to distinguish content ownership from platform ownership. Clients retain ownership of the content and business assets they provide, including logos, branding, text, images and other supplied materials. Dobble retains ownership of its proprietary website source code, Genesis CMS software, frameworks, development tools, templates, source files and related intellectual property. Clients are granted a licence to use the website and Dobble’s proprietary CMS while their applicable SLA remains active and their account is in good standing.

If a defect or error arises from Dobble’s development work and is reported during the agreed warranty period, typically 30 days from launch unless otherwise specified, Dobble may correct it at no additional charge. This warranty does not generally cover new functionality, content changes, third-party software issues, browser updates or modifications made by someone other than Dobble. Any warranty position is also subject to the applicable agreement and Australian Consumer Law.

For clients using Dobble’s managed hosting, maintenance, domain or email services, support is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Public operating hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm. Emergency support is available, with typical response times within 4 hours. If emergency work is required outside an SLA, it is charged on an ad hoc basis, with quotes, predictions or capped timing supplied before work begins where applicable.

Ongoing aftercare may include managed hosting, website maintenance, technical repairs, security monitoring, performance optimisation, domain management, Microsoft 365 business email support, SEO expansion, content publishing or technical audits. Dobble’s aim is to help the website remain fast, secure, structured and scalable rather than treating launch as a one-off finish line.

If you need long-term support after launch, the best next step is to discuss your required level of maintenance, hosting, SEO, domain and email management with Dobble so the right aftercare arrangement can be included in your proposal or service agreement.
