Dobble’s managed web hosting is designed for businesses that need more than cheap, generic shared hosting. It is a performance and security-focused hosting service managed by Dobble, with the technical setup, monitoring and support handled for you.
The service commonly includes SSL certificate configuration, server-level caching, daily automated backups, proactive monitoring, firewalls, malware scanning, intrusion detection and security patching. These inclusions are intended to help keep your website fast, secure and available, while reducing the need for your team to manage server-level technical work.
Dobble also provides migration from your current host. Before a migration, Dobble audits the existing setup, prepares the new environment, takes backups where possible and coordinates DNS changes carefully. The goal is to minimise disruption, although temporary interruptions can still occur because of DNS propagation, third-party providers or internet caching.
Hosting plans are tailored to the requirements of the website. Dobble offers Standard Managed hosting for most business websites with moderate traffic, and Enterprise hosting for higher-traffic or more complex websites requiring dedicated or scalable infrastructure, custom configurations, advanced caching, CDN integration, priority support, load balancing, advanced security, reporting or staging environments. Fixed public hosting prices are not listed, so Dobble provides pricing based on the site’s needs.
For websites and hosting services managed on Dobble’s infrastructure, Dobble aims to maintain 99.9% monthly uptime. This applies to the availability of the Dobble-managed web server and hosting environment, measured monthly. It is not a promise of 100% uptime and does not apply to every possible cause of downtime.
The uptime commitment excludes scheduled maintenance, emergency maintenance, third-party outages, domain registrar issues, DNS provider issues, CDN issues, payment gateways, Microsoft 365, Google services, Cloudflare or similar external services, client-side internet issues, force majeure events, cyberattacks, government actions, client changes, custom code, third-party plugins, themes, software updates, misuse and services not hosted on Dobble-managed infrastructure.
If monthly uptime falls below 99.9% due solely to an issue within Dobble’s managed hosting infrastructure, affected clients may request a service review. Where applicable under the client’s Service Level Agreement, service credits may be available. Financial compensation is limited to the service credits specified in the applicable agreement.
Support is also part of the managed hosting model. Dobble’s support hours for hosting, maintenance, domain and email clients are 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Emergency support is available, with response times typically within 4 hours. For clients outside an SLA, emergency work is charged on an ad hoc basis, with quotes, predictions or capped timing supplied before work begins.
Dobble’s hosting is often used alongside website maintenance, domain management, email hosting and SEO engagements, giving businesses one technical partner for the core infrastructure behind their website. This helps reduce provider finger-pointing when hosting, DNS, email and website systems need to work together.
If you are unsure whether your current hosting is limiting performance, reliability or support, Dobble can review your setup and recommend the right hosting approach for your website, traffic, security needs and long-term growth plans.
